Joomla Links

Joomla is a great CMS, and it is Open Source!!!!! How can you beat that? I haven't been working with Joomla for to long but LOVE all the power that it has.  Here is a link to the main Joomla site, Joomla.org.  You should be able to find everything you need to get going, downloads and documentation.  Once you get the basic Joomla site up and running you will want to customize it,  check out the Extenions Directory.

The one extension that I can't live without right now is Jumi,  This plugin allow you to code PHP in your Joomla website!!!!  That is right you can write custom code and you don't have to know the inner workings of Joomla.  To see an example of how it can all work, take a look at the Photos link.  That whole photos section of the website was build using 3 Jumi scripts.  I am also using SigPlus to display the galleries and AllVideos to serve up the video.  I know it isn't the fancies gallery ever, but it is something that was simple and fun to do myself.
